Essentials For Your Valentine

Lavender and Rose oil are great oils for your skin.  Yes, Rose oil is very expensive but a little goes a long way.  You can make a very simple serum for your face with 1 drop each of lavender and rose oil added to an ounce of your favorite carrier oil.  Add a little of your homemade serum to your face and neck daily.
Here’s a guide to choosing a carrier oil for your skincare:
Dry or Mature Skin: Hemp Seed Oil or Fractioned Coconut Oil
Oily and Blemish-Prone Skin: Grapeseed Oil or Hemp Seed Oil
Normal Skin: Sweet Almond Oil or Hemp Seed Oil
You will love the calming aromatherapy from all three of these products. They can all be used in your diffuser and lavender and rose oil would be lovely added to your bath. Remember a little goes a long way with the rose oil, simply inhaling it from the bottle can be extremely calming.  Rose Water is a one of my favorite products from Spark Naturals and it can be used in so many ways. It’s a very calming so not only will skin irritations be calmed but it can relax your mood. Spritz your face before or after you apply your makeup and use it as a body spray. Rose Water also makes a great linen spray, spritz your bedding, linens and use it to freshen your closet.

If you are a lover of essential oils you’ll know how very special these oils are and what a lovely collection this is.  These are four rare and expensive oils that Spark Naturals has taken great care in packaging. Each oil is a 5/8 dram (about 60 drops each) and the smaller size makes them more affordable for everyone. These oils are beautifully packaged in a glass jar with a ceramic lid which makes them great for gift giving.
Helichrysum, Melissa, Rose and Sandalwood are perfect oils to care for you skin.
HELICHRYSUM will help clear up marks from pox and heal scars. It’s a wonderful anti-inflammatory so it’s perfect for inflamed skin, eczema and dermatitis. It makes skin smooth, soft and helps it to retain moisture.
ROSE will also make scars, acne, stretch marks and surgery scars fade due to it’s antioxidant activity.
MELISSA is one of the best oils for cold sores, apply it to the area at the first sign of a cold sore by mixing 1 drop of Melissa to 4 drops of carrier oil. Reapply every couple hours.
SANDALWOOD is a good oil to blend with lotion or a carrier oil to help with eczema and re-moisturize the skin. It’s soothing to the skin relieving it from inflammation and irritation.
