Spark Naturals Rose Water and Witch Hazel

Our rose water is sold in 4oz and 8oz bottles and has a fine misting spray top. The rose water is an herbal distillate, which is an important co-product produced in the process of making Spark Naturals Rose essential oil. Rose water can be used in food and skin and haircare products. It can be used with all skin types but is especially great for dry skin. How wonderful will your skin feel with each spritz. You can also keep it in the refrigerator for an extra refreshing luxurious moisturizer for your skin. Perfect during the warm summer months and rose water is also great for removing makeup.

How about making a rose water elixir for a special occasion-
2 cups water
1/2-1 cup of organic cane sugar (depending on desired sweetness)
3T of rose water
1 cup of mint leaves
1 sliced lime
Soda water
Ice cubes
Rose petals for garnish
Mix 2 cups of water and the desired amount of organic cane sugar; stir over low heat for 3-4 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and then simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Cool to room temperature then chill until cold.
In a large pitcher, add the sugar syrup with the rosewater, lime slices, and mint. Add the soda water, stir, and enjoy.

Clean and sanitize naturally!

Finding a soap that is GLUTEN FREE can be a pain! When I got my Celiac Disease diagnosis I was shocked to find certain soaps had gluten in them!
Of course I am not consuming the soap, but you can still have a reaction from it just absorbing in through your skin. The hand sanitizer and hand soap are also very nice for kiddos! Since they are natural you don’t have to worry about them putting a million crazy ingredients into their mouths and onto their sensitive skin!
This is the recipe for Natural Hand sanitizer:
Put 20 drops of Spark Naturals Shield Blend in a 1 ounce spray bottle
Top off the spray bottle with alcohol free witch hazel  (we use Thayers alcohol free rose petal witch hazel)
Shake gently

This is the recipe for the Natural Foaming Hand Wash:
Natural Foaming Hand Wash
Fill your soap container about 1/5th full with Pure-Castile soap (we used lavender but any scent or unscented would work)
Add 20 drops of Spark Naturals Shield Blend
Fill remainder of bottle with filtered water

If you make one or both of these please let us know how you like it!
Here’s to a cleaner summer!
Have a great day!
